These Southern California sisters have been in front of my camera every year since they were toddlers, and both are main characters. I adore this whole family. They are wildly smart, athletic, competitive, and strong-willed. So, as most sisters do, they butt heads. That’s real life—perfection isn’t the goal. It’s about showing up, being yourself, and encouraging others to do the same.

My favorite part of what I do is reminding people that they are individually powerful, dynamic, and beautiful in their own right—and then giving them physical evidence of it in photographs.

As sessions naturally wind down, there often seems to be two last standing that go in for the oh so wholesome session ender. Super sweet.
