Let the Kids Dress Themselves • Whitefish Montana

This kid is the best. This particular day, I watched him for a few hours, for his mama. We shot these in about 15 minutes while waiting for a friend to pick him up to go for a skate play date. He got himself ready and I must say, he’s got pretty great style. It’s the backwards shirt that really hit it out of the park for me. Compass. Check. Thermometer. Check. The knee socks. The little guy is dialed in.

Letting the kids dress themselves builds confidence, works their decision making skills, and it allows to express themselves in a fun way.

The last two black and white photos are him telling me a very detailed story of what might live inside the tire. That last one he heard the tires of the car pull into the gravel driveway and off he went.
